
I considered this too, but ISP's do not allow cellphone calls on the toll free numbers, and I will be using this in the bus. so I would need to get a data plan and use GPRS or CDMa modems. One benefit of this is that most ISPs have toll-free dialin, so you won't be paying a toll call to connect to your home network (and therefore wouldn't be a problem just borrowing a handy landline).
