It is for an older member who I have set up to use Linux Mint when he couldn't upgrade to Windows 7. He signed up for Netflix but got a message saying it he couldn't use it under Linux. I haven't been to see him yet.

It's not Spark preventing you access to Netflix, it's Netflix.

But a quick search seems to find that Netflix works with Ubuntu and
Chrome (I assume you are using Firefox).

Say NO to DRM.
