Yes I use an LCD. However it is such a high resolution that I rarely notice the colour fringes with sub pixel rendering turned on. It would be cool if those patches got accepted into freetype though. Regards Craig Box wrote:
Are you using an LCD screen? David Turner from Freetype has recently produced a patch to improve sub-pixel anti aliasing, which brings it on par with Microsoft's implementation (and possibly their patents, which is why this isn't currently in by default).
