[wlug] pppoe

hey all I am trying to get my pppoe working on my desktop computer, everytime I unlock the network settings, and check the pppoe option, as fast as I select pppoe, it unchecks the box. here is the output from lspci relating to my ethernet controller: glenn(a)glenn ~$lspci 04:00.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8071 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 16) Now I can see my other computers but I cant access them, althought I can ping them. Why can't I set up pppoe? Any help appreciated. Glenn
