Oh, sorry getting ahead of myself. Anyone second? Any interest at all? I just realized this conflicts with our usual Saturday workshop. My idea is to get some of those flat carts you see in warehouses, hand trucks we used to call them. Then we could work on building computers while someone pushes the cart around the track. I am still really keen to be part of this as I believe it will help to raise the profile of the WLUG and in the process help out a worthy cause. As Liz mentioned my life outside of WLUG has gotten rather hectic the last few weeks but I am still committed to doing this relay.

Now James has had a few things crop up and is unable to help out, however there are a few others of us keen to put together a group.

Key points:
* Teams consist of 10 or more: a Team Captain is elected, a Team name selected, and members submit a registration fee which will vary according to where the event is being held. Teams are encouraged to set and achieve their own FUNdraising goals in advance of the Relay and to be as creative as they wish about how they will walk, stroll or run around the track. FUNdraising can be achieved on either an individual basis or as a team. * At least one member of the team should be on the track for the duration of Relay to keep the baton passing. They are encouraged by their supporters and the electric and celebratory atmosphere that is created by the trackside entertainment and the vibrancy of everyone camping together overnight. * After you have registered you will receive a thank you confirmation, a login and password and access to the team captain and team member pages. * Cost $15 per person + whatever fund raising we can make
