Re: [wlug] Suse CD install

Hi Group, I did get a SuSE 9.1 and tried to install onto Dell cpx 500 mhz laptop with ati rage video card. The install went pretty good except no 3D, I was not allowed to change the screen resolution, eth0 and modem were not configured. Set up ran right up to intial logon then blank blue screened at the end of the linux startup routine I wonder if I am obliged to get an online update before I get Linux up?? If any one can help (in lay terms) please go right ahead. Regards John..
