[wlug] connection to a router

A bit of advice please. I have an IHUG wireless connection which I can get working fine when I plug the connection straight into my Ethernet card and use an ADSL connection. However, I have a netgear router which I am using between my computers and the net. When I try and set up a network connection with this, I am choosing "Ethernet connection" - it recognises the card but when I try and activate it says 3c501 device does not seem to be present. How do I go about setting my computer up to speak to my router? Cheers John
