Like many in the Linux community, I remove Windows from laptop's and install Linux distro's. As a part of performing this task I also scrape the Microsoft sticky labels off the laptop. This includes the rather stubborn-to-remove, Microsoft Product Key sticker. I recently looked at all the laptop's on display at the local PB Tech outlet. They no longer have any Microsoft stickers on them. About 50% of the laptops have no stickers at all. For those laptop's with stickers, then they are with regards to the CPU or Graphics chip manufacturer. I'd like to thank the laptop manufacturers for making the Linux conversion task easier ;-) cheers, Ian.
