LinkedIn has been suing a company called hiQ for scraping information from public user profiles, and so far it has lost, twice <https://www.theregister.co.uk/2019/09/09/hiq_wins_linkedin_appeal/>. But of course LinkedIn, being owned by Microsoft, has much deeper legal pockets, and will simply continue a war of attrition until hiQ gives up.
