I wonder how many people are using Unity/Gnome 3/Gnome 2 in the later releases of Linux distros?
So I am curious, how many geek types use the new ui's and how many hate them after a real attempt to use them?
I don't know if I qualify for the moniker "geek type"! Personally, I tend to "go with the flow". Life's too short to worry about trying to make your OS do what previous ones did. Perhaps my attitude is a result of changing OS every 6 months and not wanting to spend time tweaking. I see some improvements in the latest version of Unity ... the right-click options. I've got no problem recommending Ubuntu for anyone who wants a "no fuss" computer system. It works well for those that class themselves as technophobes. Michael
