If your RH9 box doesn't use non-redhat packages it'll be a pretty simple excercise. I did one by hand using yum. I posted about the experience on the list. I fucked it up tho and it took me ages to recover but I've been running it since with little trouble.

debian seems to be the shnizzle for keeping a box going through major
system upgrades..

i wonder how badly my redhat 9 machine will break doing a fedora upgrade

at least i dont have to setup pppoe again...
