
TeamViewer is legit software (I've used it with clients) and is most likely just abused by scammers (you can use it for free). My next-door neighbour said that over the last couple of weeks he had received two phone calls claiming to be from Spark Support. He stated he gave them no information and hung up. A couple of days ago he found that TeamViewer <https://www.teamviewer.com/en/> had been installed on his Win10 laptop computer.

He said taken his laptop to an IT shop to get it restored.
