[wlug] Yoper V2 is out

Hello fellow Linux enthusiasts Version 2 of Yoper (iso date 20040509) is now available on http://www.yoper.com. Main changes are: - RPM based - Apt-rpm support and repository available - More than 400 packages now available - Yoper is not commercial anymore - Installer allows a fully apt capable minimal install (around 300Mbyte) - The KDE experience has been extended by including Openoffice with full KDE look and Geramik as a GTK KDE theme - Synaptic is now the graphical package management system - 400 packages (including Gnome) are available via apt - Yoper is still i686 optimised and performance patches from Con Kolivas bring even greater speed Regards Andreas Girardet
