Google is now offering another way to get hold of satellite imagery from NASA’s Landsat and the ESA’s Sentinel-2 program, using its cloud service <http://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/10/06/google_landsat_and_sentinel2_imagery/>. This should mitigate the bandwidth bottlenecks, but maybe it doesn’t make navigating the files to find what you want any easier...
