Or alternatively just get a RedHat Network account (the first is free) and then just type "up2date mozilla-psm" at the command line.

To get a RHN account just type "rhn_register" at the command line.

Though if your machine is a stock RH9 box up2date won't work.  The SSL certificates have expired.  You can download new versions of up2date that fixes this issue from http://rhn.redhat.com/.

Then you'll need to install the new up2date rpms at the command line with: 

rpm -Uvh up2date*

As long as the downloaded RPM's are in the current directory that is.

I think you mentioned previously you were using RH9.  As a newbie, you may 
have already come across mystifying and highly frustrating package 
dependency issues when using rpm that other linux versions such as debian 
don't have (with apt etc.).  If you haven't, then lucky you.  In any case, do your 
sanity a favour and download and install apt-rpm (http://apt-rpm.tuxfamily.org/).  
Very easy to use and you can bypass that silly rpm package manager and 
you'll NEVER have dependency issues (again).  It may even solve your current 
problem.  You can even (I'm not on my linux system right now so can't confirm 
this), configure your rpm downloads to come from closer/faster servers than 
redhat's.
