“Relational” doesn’t have to mean SQL, since there is relational algebra, after all <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relational_algebra>. By the way, what’s the difference between a “graph” database and an old-style “network” database <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_model>?
