[wlug] checkinstall

It was mentioned in the meeting tonight that installing from source was troublesome for package management systems in that installed files are not recorded in any database. This makes uninstalling difficult. The program 'checkinstall' goes some way in alleviating the problem. It works very well with Slackware packages; I don't know about rpms or debs.
