Another alternative might be to take your machine to the meeting there are tons of lan experts to give you help..
I believe you can make it go with ndiswrapper. If a machine turns up to one of our Saturday Workshops, I'm sure someone would be keen to help make it go. (I realise its tough to do this while on the road in the US, but maybe you'll find a local LUG over there to help John!) Craig
