I was really hoping I wouldn't see any SGI, Sun and DEC Alpha type
machines in the eday photos - they seem to be awfully difficult to find
normally. Now I get the feeling I should attend such events in the
future to keep an eye out.
That's a good idea. Although volunteers weren't officially supposed to take any machines home, a few did. And a number of 'collectable' machines were put aside to be sold on trademe. I don't recall the indy being one of them though.
Was the SGI Indigo (green computer in 6th image) saved? It would be a
shame to see it destroyed in the name of recycling.
