Hi, Regarding the idea of having all wlug meetings being on the 4th day of the month, irrespective of whether or not its a public holiday. There were a couple of reasons why I suggested this: The first reason, as Peter mentioned, is that it is easier to remember that its always on the 4th Monday of the month. Its also easier to tell someone who may be interesting in coming along to the meetings. The second reason, is that I thought that for some people it may be easier for them to attend a wlug meeting on a public holiday than on a normal working Monday. For example, some people may find it difficult to ensure that they can finish work on time, get home for dinner, and then head out to the wlug meeting. Thus they might prefer the meeting being on a public holiday as there is not the conflict with their work, and more chance they will make it to the meeting. For me only the first reason applies, but its possible that for some the second reason may have merit. If so, then let your desires be known. I can also appreciate there would be reasons for not wanting wlug meetings on a public holiday Monday. For example, if you travel by bus to the meeting, then I envisage that with the changed bus time-table on a public holiday, it would not be as easy to get to and from the meetings. I haven't tried out Lawrence's program yet, but from what I recollect there are will be three 4th Mondays of the month this year that will fall on public holidays. cheers, Ian.
