In my case, migration from vanilla Firefox to Floorp was fairly easy: import/export of bookmarks and NoScript rules, installed a few addons and tweaked some browser settings.
Under MATE, I wasn't able to set Floorp as default browser in the "Preferred applications" control panel under MATE (Linux Mint 20.2). As a workaround: - checked the "Always check if Floorp is your default browser" in the Floorp settings - restarted Floorp - made Floorp the default browser After that, Floorp also showed up in the dropdown box of the "Preferred applications" control panel.
