No doubt you've heard the news last week about the US surveillance project PRISM. ...well, it didn't take long, as now there is a web-site called "Prism Break"... http://www.prism-break.org/ ...where you... "Opt out of PRISM, the NSA’s global data surveillance program. Stop reporting your online activities to the American government with these free alternatives to proprietary software." The website supports the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) and the Free Software Foundation (FSF), but is not officially endorsed by either. I initially sent this e-mail to the wlug(a)list with the subject as: "Prism Break". It was bounced, with the reason given as: "The message headers matched a filter rule". I'll try again.
