Can somebody explain the logic of this? Zoom is happy for law enforcement to be able tosurveil��ordinary (poor) users, but will protect richer users who pay extra?

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Companies are always
looking for some kind of value-add for their paid versus free services
to entice punters to part with some money, without antagonizing them.
This could be the kind of thing that works.
