OK. Maybe it's time to try an alternative approach! Support for these cards will be in Linux 2.6.17 in a much better format. Until now wireless in Linux has been a real mess. There seems to be an effort to really tidy it up now though. What you can do is download the latest test version from http://kernel.org. It will be 2.6.17-rcx-gity where x and y are some number (currently 1 and 12 at time of writing). Build this kernel and install. You will need to read this file for additional instructions: Documentation/networking/bcm43xx.txt If you're not sure how to build a kernel and install please say so and I will find instructions.
