Bugger. Guess no-one will want to re-home this old Compaq Contura Aero 4/25 I want to get rid of. 4MB RAM, 80MB? HDD, external 1.44MB? FDD, ext. PSU/Original? Compaq Bag. All operational, bar battery, which is long gone I think. Elroy. NOTE: Looks like they could run Win95... think I have a few OEM originals somewhere... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compaq_Aero Peter Reutemann wrote:
sfcrazy writes with news that Linus pulled a patch by Ingo Molnar to remove support for the 386 from the kernel.
From Ingo's commit log: "Unfortunately there's a nostalgic cost: your old original 386 DX33 system from early 1991 won't be able to boot modern Linux kernels anymore. Sniff."
Linus adds: "I'm not sentimental. Good riddance."
