I'm using GNOME; I couldn't stand Unity, though I might give it another chance when 11.10 is released. I missed having my sensor indicators (HDD/CPU temperatures) in my top panel. Saying that you don't have a problem isn't particularly helpful, either. My workspace switchers /used/ to work, but now they don't for no reason I can figure out, which is why I'm asking here. A Google search reveals that the issue has cropped up with other people, but the only fix I've so far found didn't do anything. Sandy On 17/09/11 18:57, Michael McDonald wrote:

I've suddenly noticed that I'm unable to switch between workspaces. Neither clicking on the workspace applet nor Ctrl+Alt+Left/Right arrow work any more, and I'm at a loss as to why this might be. I can still send windows to another workspace, but I can no longer get to them. Would anyone have any ideas about why this is happening? This is 11.04 x64. No problem on my laptop - both methods work ... Acer Aspire 4315, 11.04 x64, Unity UI
