
The Waikato Linux Users Group monthly meeting for September is entitled "Novell and Linux". Our guest speaker is Paul Kangro from Novell. All are welcome to attend. Refreshments provided. Novell are famous for their NetWare operating system, and more recently for their purchases of the SuSe Linux distribution and Ximian (a company working on Linux desktop software such as GNOME and the Evolution groupware client). They are now the most active contributor to the GNOME project, the KDE project, Mono, and Evolution, as well as the #2 contributor to the Mozilla project and OpenOffice.org. Paul is Novell's Solutions Manager for Australia and New Zealand.
