The Python group (on the 2nd Monday) has far fewer clashes: none this year or last year, possibly one next year.
Hmm, actually that’s a case I never thought of: Waitangi Day 2016 is “Mondayized” to February 8th, which is the second Monday. So my code reschedules to the first Monday. But that’s when Auckland Anniversary Day is being observed.
Will there be a February meeting?
In theory, yes. Currently, the head of department here in computer science is on annual leave till end of January. Can't discuss funding for meetings till he's back to work.
