Recognizing the potential <https://www.theregister.com/2022/06/21/microsoft_api_ai_algorithms/> for misuse of technologies that can glean information from publicly-available images, audio etc that the subjects of those online media might not expect (including the ability to forge their likenesses), the company has pledged to come up with restrictions on how developers outside the company can use these technologies. As for developers _inside_ the company? (...crickets...)
