Thanks for the suggestion, but that wasn't the case. DeLi install recognised the partitions, asking me to confirm that installation to those partitions. In the case of the swap partition it recommended that I not use mkswap on the linux swap partition.
I don't think that you understood my rather brief suggestion. To elaborate, do the following: * Boot up with the Deli cd, * Do _not_ start the install process yet. * Type "fdisk /dev/hda" (or whatever hd* corresponds to the HD you are using) * Type "m" to give you your options, if you need more info, * Type "p" to show what partitions you currently have * Type "d" for each partition you want to delete (you will be asked which one) * Type "n" to create each new partition (you will be asked for size and number) * Type "t" to change your swap partition to 82 * Type "w" to write changes to disk, * Type "q" to quit * Reboot and try your installation again (forget about Deli's partitioning tools)
Have just double-checked ... DeLi won't install to a disk without partitions.
