Thanks, But I'm just helping oliver out, the live cd is on the jetstream games server so its a nz free download for me. sadly its only 128 so its slow, and something went weird last night. I'm not too impressed by SUSE personally, as I find its multimedia support very disappointing, but I can see that in many areas that could be an advantage. Michael Cree wrote:

I've always wanted to have a look at SuSE but don't have too much time to frig around installing it etc so the Live CD version looks like the ideal plaything. Anyone got a copy of this?
finally got the iso, but its bad redownoading but at least tomorrow before its here , so if anyone else has it ......
We have SuSE 9.1 Professional version (both 32bit and 64bit) on NFS export to the University of Waikato campus network. Should someone like to copy that and has university network access I will consider advising such a person of the NFS mount information on direct application to me. (I am not prepared to give that information out in a public forum).
Sorry, we will not make it available off campus (even by ftp) since we have to pay for all transmissions to and from campus.
Michael.
