That’s pretty much the entire point, no?
There’s a HOWTO along with the release notes. It’s slightly involved, but very easy.
For the majority of people, things seem to go smoothly, but I’ve hard of a few isolated catastrophes. As always, be smart, make backups, then you can’t really lose.
