IBM have a stated goal to run much of their business on Linux and since they own Lotus they will have converted this as they probably use heavily.
This will potentially help Linux uptake in places like accounting firms and governments which use Notes quite heavily.
It's worth noting (sorry) that this refers to the client. Notes and Domino servers have run on Linux for years. Regards, Greig
