I am using KMail as my mail client, however, I have to use Windows for one program and have access to the e-mail messages at the same time. I haven't been able to find a program who can do this. Do you know of one?
Would it work if I'd use Thunderbird?
Of course then there is the problem that the KMail files are on a Reiser partition, but that could probably be solved by moving the files and using a simlink.
Couple of problems here 1) I have no idea what format KMail stores it's folders in but it's not likely to be something that Thunderbird can read. 2) Even if thunderbird is able to read a KMail mailbox I don't know of any way to mount a reiser partition from windows. I would suggest that the best, easiest and quickest way to solve your problem is to use an IMAP server to store all your mail on, and have KMail (in linux) and Thunderbird (in windows) use the same IMAP server. Alternatively if IMAP is not an option for you, and you know how to mount a resier partition in windows then I would suggest using KMail in linux and windows as you are much more likely to have success when using the same mail client.
