[wlug] re-scoring music using Rosegarden

I want to re-score some music (on paper) from tenor clef to bass clef and would like to use Rosegarden on my Ubuntu box to do this. I have read the tutorial at www.rosegardenmusic.com but I am still finding it hard to work out the basics of writing the music on-screen. Are there any local users of Rosegarden who could assist me?
