I did RTFM and did look at the FAQ: http://www.wlug.org.nz/WikiFaq and found nothing (I will edit FAQ after I get an answer).
If you remove all of a page's content, then links to that page act as if that page never existed. The "wiki administrator" user has the option to also purge all the old versions of a page from the database, but for almost all purposes, emptying the content is enough. John
