Puppy was recommended by a police officer. I think he was doing banking for the police maybe? Because of the fact that it is so small a person can just run it off ram every time they use it. So it doesn't have to be loaded onto hard drive. Any mal stuff that may happen to it is erased with the shutting down of the computer. It is an exceedingly safe way to do banking and probably emails.

In May and June I posted something like: " I don't know how this would work. Maybe someone is about to buy a computer and can try the distros there before they load there's on or maybe they have a spare partition where they can try them. Perhaps someone owns a computer shop or works in one or at a polytechnic or university where they have access to computers and could try it there."
In my latest request I was again asking for some hands on help: by loading live puppy onto a stick or also a DVD I think. I'm pretty sure puppy is more compatible than qubes.
I did get a guy from Auckland willing to help but when he found out I live in the Waikato it didn't work out. A guy from around here offered to help but that was about the time I was reminded of live versions of distros. A guy from pb tech was willing to try live qubes and I thought it would be easier for him to do it than the guy from the LUG, save him the work.
So unless someone is willing to help in a hands on way, I don't want anymore help. Thanks anyway.

I only found out because I remembered an Ian from last month had a go at me in a thread about trimming and so I read the post. I would appreciate it if someone has a go at me if somone else would let me know so that I can decide whether to defend myself or not.
