Come on everybody on the committee. The opportunity to have Richard Stallman at this time has come up at least TWICE now. You guys should be falling over yourselves to make it happen.
I've contacted Prof Ian Witten, who invited Richard Stallman some time ago, and asked him about an update on the situation (whether the talk is still gonna go ahead). Since he's currently in Europe, his response might take a while... As soon as I get a reply, I'll post again.
