re Ian's request for openSuSE 12.3 - OK, so I thought I had 12.3 disks - all I can find are 12.2, so I must not have upgraded any of the computers here yet (I gather 12.3 only came out in March, so I should have remembered). I get the disks from Phillip Charles at Copyleft in Dunedin (www.copyleft.co.nz) - they're full installation disks, freely copyable.
