My feelings were a bit bruised by Jonathan's assertion that my reference to the hurt desk was a slip. Even the people who worked on the desk knew my name for it and, to their credit, still tried to help me!
The usual expression is 'hell desk' -- but that's only from the perspective of those who work on it..
