To introduce myself; I am new to this list and am just trying to get a handle on Linux. I have lived in Hamilton for 6 years, and currently live in Tamahere.
I am an IT professional who has always worked with windows, so this is somewhat of a challenge, and I need to make fairly quick progress. Is there anyone here who would be willing to get together with me and give me a bit of a quick start. I have an old server I am trying to set up with Linux, but I am experiencing hardware issues that are beyond me.
I would be willing to pay someone for his/her time if necessary.
