I'm sure someone on the list can supply you with the latest Fedora, and if not I'd be happy to snailmail you a 64bit Ubuntu DVD.
Just checked my discs - feel a bit like the shonky salesman who opens his waistcoat to reveal a collection of watches! My list of 64-bit OSs is:- Ubuntu 8.10, 7.10 Suse 11.0, 10.3 You're welcome to call and pick up a copy. Have lots of 32-bit discs! Ubuntu 9.04 32-bit is going well on this laptop, so I haven't been tempted to download and try the 64-bit version. It's the first time the wireless on this computer has worked "out of the box" with Ubuntu - wasn't difficult to get 8.10 working with wireless, but it needed extra software to be installed. Fedora 10 (32-bit) also had wireless working "out of the box". Michael
