RimuHosting is a Waikato-based provider of Internet hosting services. We specialize in Linux Virtual Private Server hosting plans and Java hosting. We operate out of US data centers. And have a predominantly international customer base. We are trying to fill a part time position. The duties include: ~ Setting up new customers ~ Answering hosting and sales questions ~ Installing and configuring applications ~ Monitoring server performance Candidates should have a passion for Linux. They should be comfortable with basic Linux administration. They will be working with BIND, Sendmail, QMail, Apache, Debian, Red Hat and WHM/Cpanel. Candidates should also be helpful and friendly. They will be dealing, mostly via email, with customers from around the world with a variety of needs and skills. We are looking for someone to cover hours outside the regular 9-5 Monday to Friday. i.e. early morning, evening and weekend work. Within reason you can set your own hours. This would be ideal for someone trying to fit a part time job around their studies. The work can be done remotely (i.e. work from home is fine).
