The calligraphic pen tool varies the width of the stroke according to the pressure. That’s the only pressure-sensitive behaviour I’ve found.
Have used MyPaint in the past but never got pressure working (keen to see pressure working in Krita/MyPaint if you can).
Works for me in MyPaint, with a bunch of different brushes. I can bring my old Wacom Graphire for you to try, if you like. I should double-check that all this works on my laptop, not just my desktop...
