
Sorry, I wasn't thinking that they would let you keep the old hard drive too. I always had to give the faulty one back, of course once its been opened to try and recover the data, they claimed the warranty was invalidated, But I suppose calling the WD support people might be worth a try. Sorry we have looked and only have the PATA versions, on the other hand did you try ringing the Dick Smith stores, I think they did sell these and might be able to locate one, I am sure they would be happy to sell you one.
