Would a small terminal server setup be of any use. I have an LTSP on OpenSuSE rig that I can setup up to ten terminals (four would be more convenient in terms of transportability :) ) It has all the KDE educational packages on it. Takes about 40 minutes to get hooked up and running.

Awesome, yes! I think John Billings has experience with this too. Also it's an opportunity to discuss how Free software can reduce e-waste (that's Nandor's thing I gather) by greatly extending the useful life of older equipment. You'll be along on the day then?
