Lawrence - would you like to enhance on your "issues" that you've had so the rest of the list have a bit more information why this change is needed?

Peter has provided the most detail for those of us not at the meeting - those being "aggressive spam filtering" and "self hosting". I'm not quite sure how moving to a Google group meets the second requirement, and I'm not sure what "aggressive" policies that UoW impose that Google would not. Some examples would be much appreciated to help understand this.

Are there any other solid complaints that people have and an explanation why the proposed new options will correct these complaints?
