Downloaded it but found it to be 32bit.
Anyone tried 'forcing' into a 64bit system.
In a terminal, install the downloaded .deb package like this (ignoring the architecture): sudo dpkg --force-architecture -i DraftSight.deb If it complains about missing dependencies, then just simply install them using apt-get. In my case, it complained only about "libdirectfb-extra": sudo apt-get install libdirectfb-extra After all missing dependencies have been installed, run the above dpkg command again. DraftSight gets installed in the following directory: /opt/dassault-systemes/draftsight Cheers, Peter -- Peter Reutemann, Dept. of Computer Science, University of Waikato, NZ http://www.cs.waikato.ac.nz/~fracpete/ Ph. +64 (7) 858-5174
