[wlug] Upgrading from ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10 on my laptop

Would it be a good idea to upgrade as I have every thing working on my laptop including wireless internet I have already upgraded my Desktop Computer by doing a fresh install and have eventually got everything working but with my laptop I had a considerable amount of help from wlug members.
