Thats cool. I guess I'll just wait for Etch and do a dist-upgrade then. Nothing I want isn't in testing. Thanks guys. Its been a long time since I posted to wlug and you guys are as helpful and friendly as ever. I'll go back to lurking now and playing with my Mac. Hehe... /me wishes Linux/Gnome as nice as MacOS X. If Linux had a set of apps as easy to use and comparable to the iLife suite it would fly off shelves. All the Mono apps Novell is working on will eventually get there I think... but just not yet. I've kinda abandoned Linux on the desktop... I still have Ubuntu on my main desktop machine but I practically never boot into it. Ever since I've been doing the Game dev thing I've been using Visual Studio a lot and that is just not condusive to Linux usage. And the Macbook is my new toy. Having lots of fun making videos and stuff with the iLife suite. Of course my web server and NAS still run Linux.... I should upgrade my NAS at some point. It still has an old version of FC on it. No doubt when I get my PS3 I'll have a play with running Linux on that. Could make for an excellent media server once people port all the necessary libraries to the Cell processor. An eventual High Definition replacement for my Xbox Media Centre. Regards Matt Brown wrote:

Me personally I'd go to testing as it'll be the new stable relatively soon (Debian soon that is). At the moment Debian testing is only undergoing bug fixes and is pretty good right now. Then once new stable comes out switch back to stable being the repository.
Latest release target (as of last week) is 2nd April.
